I'm a 17 year old female (18 in just under 3 weeks) and found a hard, painful lump in the centre of my chest the other day. Without getting too graphical, it's in between my two breasts. The lump is a about the size of a grape and is slightly movable. I've had smaller lumps much like this one before but this one seems to be causing me a great deal of pain. I don't even have to touch it, it's painful now and I'm just lying down. You can't really see a lot from looking at it, apart from there being a slight bump and it's a tiny red Does anyone have any recommendations as to what this could be? Obviously if it fails to go away within the next couple of days I will go and see a doctor but I'd like some general advice please.

I have many of those. They’re called Thyroid tumors and its normal. One of my Tumor did Grow so my physician put me to sleep and removed it. Its not a huge surgery I was out for 25 min and the incision is smaller then a Inch. I would go to a physician get a Ultra sound on them and begin doing your own home breast exams..
Breast Exam: Lift your arm over you head and knead your fingers around your breast.
Your going to be okay, your really young I doubt its Cancer!

go to a doctor or web MD. dont ask us. anon stays here sometimes…you really want them and their thoughts on the possibility of it being a third nipple and wanting to see it etc etc etc. i personally blame scientologists for the lump…just my 2 cents

well it really sounds like cancer but io could be wrong I’m sorry hunny this must be hard. if any of your family has each have breast cancer then that means it is really likely i think you should speak to a docter sooner then later.

it might be a blocked sweat glad, if you squeeze it does white/yellow stuff come out?
