All kind of cancer runs through my family. And smoking cancer oldest was 60 yrs.

In the UK it's roughly ten years less, on average, than a non-smoker(1). This would be similar in the USA, since the two countries have similar over-all life expectancies. Of course this doesn't mean every smoker will die younger, just most of them.
