What could be wrong with my best friend? Will he be ok!??!?

I'm soo worried about my best friend! He was bleeding out of his belly button so his mom took him to the doctor, they had to actaully cut something out of his stomach. His doctor took some blood tests and they haven't came back yet, if they come back bad then they said they'll have to cut all his moles and things like freckles off! I'm so scared, he won't tell me much because he doesn't want me to worry. He told me it could be early signs of cancer! Can anyone please tell me whats wrong with him? Will he be ok?

It sounds like they are CONCERNED it could be melanoma, if they are thinking of cutting off his freckles and moles to test them. But nothing would be certain this early in it. Bleeding suddenly from anywhere is one of those "it could be anything" symptoms, so they have to be thorough.

Don't let yourself worry too much, it could be something else very minor. Whatever happens, he's in good hands, OK?
