I know, sometimes it appears that public health advice seems to be saying that 'breathing air leads to cancer of the cervix in men'. The problem is that medical research proceeds at such a lightening pace these days that previously sound advice based on good research can be easily shown to be flawed, or need amendment. But I agree with you that there's too many mixed messages and scaremongering health advice out there these days.

Water, no. There are pullonts in the water though that have been linked to every type.
Not everyones water has all those pullonts and some may not have any. Bottled water (most anyways) is purified and is supposed to have no other chemicals. THe local publilc service district moniters what chemicals are in the public municipality supplied water and tries to filter out most chemicals, but also adds more in chlorine and floryde(sp.. the tooth strenthener stuff… im sorry havin a total brain fart, even tried google, but i hope that you get what I mean….).
ANd well water can have any number of things from natural substances that should be in the ground to pullutents to chemicals…. That is why everyone on well water needs to have their water checked and analyzed often.
