Hey guys, I was interested in knowing if anyone would donate money to The American Cancer Society (Relay for Life).

Answer:
As a cancer survivor, (C.M.L. 4 yrs.), I donate to he A.C.S. thru the A.C.S. and not individuals. Is this what your asking others to do? I hope so. I would hate to thinkyou are trying to scam people.

Answer:
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a good way to help raise funds for cancer research. If you are looking for donors to sponsor your team, the best place to look is your local community as there are relays all over the U.S.

Co workers, class mates, members of your church are all good places to start.

Answer:
I have had cancer, and personally my experience with the American Cancer Society.. is that it is a worthless, bureaucratic organization. The people at the top who raise the funds.. get a big part .. I'm speaking of their employees… and they sure as heck dont necessarily give all of the information available about certain conditions.. They only disclose what ever a group of insider doctors recommend and they recommend what ever they do.. not what other doctors are doing.. I have little use for the American Cancer Society.. they are not what they represent themselves to be.

Answer:
i am a cancer patient and frankly the only help i received from the American cancer society was a small pillow to put under my arm after surgery to help keep lymphoma down. they claim that most money goes to research. I guess it must because I've seen no help from them. just wonder why all this money has been collected and there is still no cure.
