I found out that my grandmother has breast cancer the other day… but I'm not really that bothered. I know it's heartless, but I just can't feel upset… I was more bothered when I fell out with my friend. I don't really see her that much, and when I do she annoys me.

Most people are likely to survive breast cancer these days, and the older you are the more likely you are to survive it. I'm sure you don't really hate her, try and be nicer to her at this difficult time.
