I am a Chinese medical doctor currently working in ShanXi Provincial RongJun Hospital. My name is Xie Mingjie.I am writting to seek the possibility of medical help for a two-year-old Chinese boy who has been diagnosed with Wilms' Tumor. Wilms' Tumor is a curable disease among 80 percent children who are affected . However , the operation can not be performed in our province, because the mass affects part of the right lobe of the liver (present measurement 11.5*9.6*9.0 in the right lobe of liver) ,( The left kidney ,lung ,heart and a series of lab fundings are normal.) After more than two months chemotherapy,the tumor dwindles to its present size. The boy's general condition is good. Have good appetite .He can run and playing with other kids.
The boy's parents are extremely poor and can not afford further treatment. They are both unemployed.
I would be most grateful if someone can give any assistance. Especially a surgeon who can volunteer to come here.

maybe you should make an appeal and se if you can yahoo users to donate some money to bring to australia or america to do the surgery. Also try contacting the media in australia or america and see if they can broadcast his story that is more likely to attrac public interest and find a surgeon or people to donate money.
