I've always had a really bad phobia of injections, and the last one I had i was probably 7 or 8. Now im 13 and need the cervical vaccine shots.
I've read this one hurts the most and I'm so scared!
Everyone on yahoo answers states “oh its nothing” but like what exacly is it like?
How does it feel after?
I'm so scared, freaking outt!
Answer:
Okay, I've had all 3, and it's not too much to worry about.
I'll admit, it definitely hurts, but no more than getting a piercing or anything like that. In fact, probably less. It's more the icky feeling you get when the stuff's going in; it's all weird pressure really, but as far as the needle goes, it's pretty much straight in, straight out!
If you just turn away and close your eyes, it will be over in a flash =)
Oh, I personally got a bit nauseous from it for about a half hour afterward. Most of the other girls were fine afterward though; I'm sure you’ll be too.

Hi
i understand your fears,im very phobic about lots of medical things myself and even though i havnt had this vaccine as it wasnt around when i was young i have had lots of injections.
It wont take long,i can tell you from very current personal experience that having an abnormal smear and treatment to remove the abnormality is far more invasive and scary so take a deep breath and get the shots done with because it could easily save you a lot of fear in the future,i get really anxious so i had to have a spinal block to get my cells removed and the injections you can have must be better than that…good luck!
Answer:
okay so u know theres three of them right
well at first your arm gows a bit heavy and it hurts to lift it up high but i think around 1 day maybe then each will be fine
just remeber the ladies usually doing the vaccine usually try to distract you by talking to u which is a good thing
and you can also kindo of feel the stuff going into ur arm which feels weird
but it important to get your vaccines
i used to hate them too but after a few blood test and vaccines i dont mind them anymore
remember its just a really swift pinch ![]()

Please make sure you’re not allergic to
any of the ingredients it contains.
Just ask your physician what’s in the shot.
There has been numerous girls get the third shot
and die within three days. (scary stuff) and I'm not
just trying to scare you. The reason these girls died
is because they’d a horrific reaction to the ingredients
in the shots.
I’ve had these shots.
I haven't experienced anything bad though.
Just the pain in my arm for about three days.
I didn't know about people dying
when they receive these shots
so when I got it I didn't think
anything of it.
They really haven't tested gardasil
long enough to be giving it to people
it could cause damage in the long
run. who knows. Do what you feel you
should do.
Good luck.

I took it last year and mine was a series of 3 shots all together it did burn a bit and the injection site was sore but they said that was common but I didn't find it any worse than the flu shot. But I would prefer have the pain from the shot for a tiny bit than have cervical cancer. good luck
Answer:
Toughen up girl…. it's not that bad. It's administered cold, that's why it hurts a little more than the average injection… that's all.
It's for your own good, and you can take it.
Answer:
It apparently hurts like an injection. You stated you have head them before. The pain is nothing compared to what you’ll be innoculated against
