okay, my mole has gotten bigger since i was younger. i'm only thirteen so please help. i'm a little worried because my mom doesn't beleive i might have skin cancer! i tried scratching my mole off, and ever since my mole has gotten bigger. i haven't scratched it off in a while. but i'm scared because i don't want skin cancer and my mom wont check me into a doctor becasue she says it's nothing! and she won't beleive me. how do i get her to take me to the doctor?!

Are you still in school right now or you out for the summer? If you are still in school ask the school nurse.
Is your father/grandparent/aunt/uncle/older sibling there that can take you to your dr?

This is reason for concern! Call the doctors office and explain to them what is happening, have them speak to your mom directly. Any mole that changes color, size, shape, or bleeds should be checked by a physician. Even if it isn't anything, at least you'll have peace of mind knowing that you're cancer free. Good Luck.

Go to your school nurse and ask her if you need to see a Dr about your mole.
If your mom says it is nothing she is probably right but if the school nurse tells her you need to see a Dr then I'm sure your mother will take you.
