Yes. If you’re diagnosed with several types of cancer at one time (say, breast cancer and brain cancer), then one is usually the primary cancer and the other cancer has metastasized (spread from) the first cancer. But you can also get different types of cancer at different times in your life. Sometimes treatment for the first cancer puts you at greater risk of other cancers. Sometimes other factors (genetics, smoking, environmental factors such as secondhand smoke and chemical exposure on the job) can put you at greater risk.

Answer:
You can randomly happen to get more than one type of cancer, but its uncommon as it would generally be a random occurrence. While it is true that cancer can spread if its in stage four (metastasis) it remains the same form of cancer. Lung cancer which spreads to your brain, spinal cord, or liver, remains as “lung cancer” regardless of where it goes. This holds true for all forms of cancer, as the type of cells that are spreading are all from the original organ, it doesn't corrupt different cell types in organs it spreads to.

That stated, it is of course possible to randomly acquire more than one form of cancer, and I know people who have had one form of cancer, and gone on years later to acquire another form, but this is usually unrelated, just very bad luck.

Answer:
Sad to say there are over 200 types of cancer.
The cell the cancer attacks is the type of cancer he/she gets.
Unfortunately it can spread to any of the 60+ organs in the body.

Answer:
Certainly. The original cancer can spread (so your lung cancer becomes, say, liver cancer), or two unrelated cancers can occur.

Answer:
Totally. Also the cancer can spread to other areas.

Answer:
Yes.

Personally I have had colon cancer twice and liver cancer right now.

Answer:
