A year ago mother was declared free of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Now her physician wants her to have a mammogram. He says it's just routine but I'm worried sick. Does non-Hodgkins spread to the breast? Mom is 80 and has osteoporosis but no other health problems. Her family has no history of breast cancer. Thanks for any information.

Answer:
I know it's scary, but she should go ahead and have the mammogram. It is a routine screening. Congrats to your mom on being cancer-free for a year!!

Here the site with the ideal info:

Best wishes
