Its not the meat it is what the farmers are paid to inject in to them… experimental drugs brought you by the US gov.

Answer:
What kind of cancer are you referring to?
Or are claiming red meat is the cause of the hundreds of diseases that fall under the category of cancer?
What spike are you referring to? Unless you’re referring to a particular area of the country there has been no recent spike in cancer.
We don’t know what causes cancer and I would be skeptical of anyone who claims they do know.
You posted the question and asked for people’s thoughts then tell them to look up what you read. Maybe you should provide a link to this NEW study you read as what you are claiming doesn’t make sense.
Cancer has been around as long as we have.

Answer:
Not exactly what it says; the study states a diet HIGH in red meat may increase the risk of dying from cancer.

And there hasn't actually been a sudden spike in cancer incidence.

Me, I was diagnosed with an aggressive, advanced cancer at 50 - so within the age group studied; I had been a vegetarian for most of my life and a vegan for over eight years. Most of my meat-eating friends haven't been diagnosed with cancer.

The fact remains that no food or drink has been proven to contribute to or cause cancer, except that a diet high in red and processed meat is a definite risk for colorectal cancers

Answer:
Well the problem is we are hardly eating natural meat, the cows eat food full of hormones, steroids and who knows what else (not to mention all the other stuff that’s done to them).

Weather it is the direct cause of a sudden spike in cancer, I don't think so. As a more indirect cause, definitely, along with many other factors all totaled together.

By the way, your avatar rules!!!!!!!!! War criminals deserve death or jail.

Answer:
hardly likely
mankind has been eating meat since before they became civilised, many thousands of years ago.
Pollution, pesticides, toxins and all that, in the air we breathe, the water we drink, and sprayed on foods we eat or fed to animals we eat, is a more likely reason

Answer:
Michel Montignac is very well known food scientist in France. His current research is all to do with milk - as he believes that people are allergic to milk this day because of drugs and hormones that are injected into cows.

If you go to www.after-cancer.com/food there is more info - and it makes sense. We have been eating meat and drinking milk for centuries - now suddenly these MIGHT - just might - be bad for us.

Answer:
It makes me wonder what they're fattening those cattle with at the slaughterhouse feedlots.
Agreed it's not healthy to eat beef every day simply because it is a labor for the body to digest it.

There's more to this problem than they are admitting.

Just wanted to add that your avatar makes me smile.

Answer:
Well, it would have been nice if you had posted the study so that we could see it and read it.
