Melanoma question?

Author: admin

my mom has stage 3 melanoma and she is going through chemo. she just walked past me and she was wearing a tank top and i noticed a massive lump under her skin, she didn't even know it was there. not a mole or anything, but it looked like the size or a baseball, in diameter was swollen under her skin. does anyone know what this might be? she’s going to the doctor about it but i am just wondering it anyone knows about melanoma and knows if it might have anything to do with the cancer or if its chemo related or something entirely different. i'm just worried about my mom.

Answer:
I am currently dealing with stage 3 melanoma. I doubt it is from chemo, besides they normally do not use chemo for melanoma, but Interferon.

rnnThree options:
rnn
rnn1) Could be a result from the surgery, AKA drainage and fluid build up.
rnn2) An non-malignant tumor
rnn3) The melanoma has metasized.
rnn
rnnI hope she’s going to the onocologist v/s her regular physician.

Answer:
Cancer is one long series of hearing unpleasant answers to questions that you wouldn’t like or want to hear.
rnn
rnnSorry if my bluntness bothered you. Report Itn

Answer:
