without getting a leep or hysterectomy, etc. how long does it take before it gets to the next stage?
Answer:
If it is due to HPV it can and very often does regress on its own and therefore may never progress to cancer. It may also remain the same for long periods of time. There is no way to determine when or if it will progress to cancer.
Answer:
Firstly, you need to know that someone has answered your question claiming an expertise they do not have..cin 3 does NOT regress on it's own, that should tell you who i mean.
I had a very abnormal smear last spring. Within 48hrs, i was having a Lletz and biopsy done. This day i was treated for further abnormal cells, but that does not answer your question. It is not ever cut and dried, and can vary from one woman to another, in all honesty, if you have CIN 3 the hospital will do all they have the ability to to get you in to remove it, and only a fool won’t follow advice and get treatment
Answer:
I didn't bother waiting to find out. I got a cone biopsy 16 years ago and have had no abnormality since. Honestly, it depends on the individual, there is no one correct answer, but it is not likely to improve without treatment.
Answer:
Some time months to years
