I had a giant nosebleed and asked my dad who is a physician what it meant. He stated that it could be dry air, a bad blood vessel, or a symptom of leukemia. This nosebleed was huge. I was bleeding out of both nostrils for at least 15 minutes nonstop and caughing up blood clots the size of tablespoons.

The problem being is, I’ve nearly all of the symptoms to chronic leukemia. I'm a hypochondriac sometimes, my mother knows that, and even if I did have it, there's no way in hell that we would be able to handle it now. I am already in the process of testing for epilepsy and everything. We hurt finantially. I know the test is a easy blood test, but it too often turns into more then that.

What should I do?

Answer:
Gosh! Your dad's a doctor and you're asking us? I had a giant nose bleed that soaked a BATH towel before I got to the emergency room and it wasn’t cancer. The cancer I have had nothing to do with it. If there were something you should be worrying about, you father being a DOCTOR, would have jumped on it!

Answer:
i think you would know it if you had Leukemia.you might want to go to the physician just to be on the safe side.
