Hardest of all? I'm not sure, but it is pretty bad. I just started ICE recently, I'm on my 3rd round, and I've been dealing with cancer for almost12 years. I'm 18. I've experienced a lot of chemotherapy drugs and Ifosfomide, Carboplatin and Etoposide arent so bad on their own, but when you combine them and increase the dosage its really hard. I've been very tired and have had little to no appetite so I have a nasogastric (NG) tube.

Even though it is hard to deal with it, it is worth it. My last scans showed decrease in tumor size and no progression which is great. For months we've been working to find a protocol that will work.

Are you or your child starting/going through ICE? Feel free to message me on Yahoo, I'm babyfacehly13.

Good Luck!

Answer:
Well, it wasn't the worst one for me, but it was up there toward the top of the list! I used it with Rituxin in prep for a stem cell transplant last year. I was completely bald in two weeks, and was pretty weak on it, but not really sick. The stuff he put me on after it, DHAP was what made me sooooo darn sick. I've been on several different types and combinations, since I've had to fight this 3 different times in less than three years.
