Im asking this because Im afraid I’ve cancer
but my blood tests said that my pancreas isn't inflamed.
So does this mean that I dont have cancer?
can blood test be wrong sometimes?

Answer:
It only means your pancreas is not inflamed. What makes you believe it has to be inflamed for you to have cancer?

Answer:
I don't understand how a blood test can tell you about inflammation. Did the physician reading the test results tell you the pancreas wasn't inflamed? Did he tell you you do have pancreatic cancer? Blood tests can be wrong but not that often and I'm sure the physician didn't rely solely upon a blood test in making the diagnosis. Plus any test result would be double and even triple checked on such a serious issue. I do hope though that you get everyone's wish that you don't have cancer.

Answer:
Your pancreas can be inflamed with out any cancer, you can hurt or have a cyst on it but,Because the pancreas is a storage depot for digestive enzymes, injury to the pancreas is potentially very hazardous. A puncture of the pancreas generally requires prompt and experienced medical intervention.

Answer:
The test you are referring to are the amylase and lipase that are increased in pancreatitis. Pancreatic cancer generally isn't involved with such elevations. It is rare to have elevated pancreatic enzymes with cancer.
