If physicians found something like bone mass on an x-ray, would they phone you up or just wait for your GP to tell you.
I had an x-ray 6 days ago and I'm getting pretty worried.
I'm 18 by the way.
Thanks
Answer:
Try to rest a tiny. You don't give a lot of details but no news is good news. They should have had the results by now. The radiologist will contact the physician immediately if there is a problem and they in turn should contact you. You need to call on Mon to see what is going on. If it is bad news don't get too uptight because xray's are a starting point and further testing will need to be done esp if it is a bone mass. A bone scan is more conclusive. Good luck and hang in there!
Answer:
If they found something abnormal they would call you in for further testing. A spot found on an x-ray does not reflect what it can actually be. You should call them if it is causing you anxiety. Normally if the x-ray came back clean they’ll mail you the results
Answer:
The radiologist would let the doctor know right away, the physician would also. Call the docs office and see if the X-Rays came in and ask why it's taking so long. They do have an obligation to you.
Answer:
i think they usually just tell your gp then he/she will tell you. unless it's an emergency that needs immediate attention, they will ring. but i dont really know for sure, i'm just assuming.
Answer:
They would have found it during your x-ray.
You would have been emmited to the hospial.
Chemo would begin.
It's real deal, no time to waste in this world.
