friend passed from Stage IV Dbl breast cancer with mets to brain, spine and pancrease. Friend's nipple was deformed in 07/06 but did not seek treatment until 05/07 in er for numbness in feet. Loved ones trying to determine how long it would have taken for a lump to chg breast formation

Some breast cancers are very aggressive. I had a friend who noticed a lump between Thansgiving and Christmas 2007 and she died last week.
Trying to determine how long it takes for a lump to change the formation of the nipple is really not a determining factor in how long the lump has been present. A small lump the size of a pea can invade other organs and kill before you even realize you have a lump in your breast.
