I have been seeing an endocrinologist for the past seven years. At first they diagnosed me with two benign tiny nodules on each of my lobes. In 04 they did a sonogram which indicated some growth but my doctor stated not to worry about it. This day I got a franctic call from my endocrinologist telling me that my scan from April 08 showed several growth changes.

A 1 Cm lesion was found on my right lobe which was there in 04 but now is twice as big and several other small nodules on each lobe. It is described as a hypoechoic lesion with two microcalcifications in my right thyroid lobe. I went for a biopsy today but won't know the results till next week.

I am feeling really scared. Can anyone relate to this?
