Actually, I just looked into this, and there is brand new research that came out this week from the John Hopkins Institute that says that marijuana (as well as oral sex, BTW) increase the chances of cancer in general if you already have HPV. So yes, it would increase your chances of getting neck and throat tumors, oral cancer and probably cervical cancer, if you also have oral sex or give oral sex (not to be crude, but that's what the study says).
Another study showed that even exposure to second hand marijuana smoking increases the chances of getting cervical cancer by 200%. I'd assume that if you're smoking it yourself it's even worse.
You should cut back on smoking pot considerably because you don't want to risk getting respiratory problems, since the fact of the matter is, you're inhaling fairly noxious smoke that keeps your respiratory tract in a near-constant say of irritation. It's just not a good idea to further complicate your health.
Not all people that have HPV will get cervical cancer, by the way, so don't give up or get paranoid, just don't smoke pot since clearly it increases the odds, according to these new studies.
