Ok this is concerning me very much. I spent the night at my freinds home last night, and we just chilled and played some video games.. then went to sleep. In the morning, as i got up to go to the washroom, i got that “got up too fast feeling” (im sure you all know this feeling) … so i continued on to the washroom.. figured it would die down care about it always does. But then out of nowhere, i woke up on the floor outside the bath room with my friend hovering over me asking me what happened. I dont remember exactly anything inbetween the black out.. but he stated i was still for about 5-10 seconds then i got up and went to the washroom. I was lucky i didnt hit my head on the floor, but landed on my arm. I mean this is very strange because i get that feeling ALL THE TIME! and it was no big deal until now.. that was the first time ive accually passed out from it. My parent say i need to get a blood test done too see what the problem is… but i want to know if i should get treated immediately. Is this severe ? is this a symptom of anything? Please help. Im a 15 year old male, 130lbs, 5.4″ . Thanks for all answers, if i know how ill give as many points as i can for a good answer. THANKS!
Answer:
Hi, you should go to your physicians and get this checked out especially as you actually passed out and you’ve had this feeling many times before.
Get an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible and if you remember take a urine sample with you that way he can check for sugar and infections of you bladder. (many infections can cause dizziness)
Your symptoms can be as a result of many things but for someone your age it is more prone to be something simple like a virus, low blood sugar (hypoglycemic) or Orthostatic hypotension (a drop in blood pressure when sitting or standing up quickly).
You state you have this all the time but do you mean it is there all the time just recently or has it been going on for a long time?
Do you eat regularly or do you snack and miss meals as this could cause low blood sugar.
Make sure to tell your physician everything you can think of since these feelings of dizziness first started.
Good luck

There are a lot of reasons for this. The most likely is low blood pressure.
This is some thing you MUST speak to a physician about. It could also be MVP. Mytral Valve Prolaps. This is a defect in the Mytral valve (bycuspid) valve. It is managed well with meds. I’ve the MVP. You should see a doctor ASAP.

OMG the same thing happened to me! I was at school though, far more embarrasing. I went to the physician and he stated it wasn't anything to worry about because all the tests I got were fine. But if it happens agian, you should go get checked out.

I think you go see your physician and tell them what you felt and ask some medical pill. I believe you must of eat something that you might be allergic. I state you should keep something or get something that makes you stay awake.

I wouldn't stress it too much. Yeah, if it's been going on for a while, go to the doctor and get checked…. usually it's something as easy where medication or diet can get it taken care of.

Ugh, I get that feeling all the time. I went to the nurse one day at school, and she said it could be low blood sugar or anemia (low iron).
Answer:
Maybe not a blood test but a blood PRESSURE test. My friend has the same problem because she has low blood pressure. Get it checked out.

I think you should call the doctor's office and explain what happened. If he feels as if you should be seen immediately, he will tell you. It is hard to diagnose this type of problem without having all the facts and the person who should be doing it is a physician. You could just have low blood sugar and that can make you pass out: hypoglycemia Look it up and see if the symptoms match yours. I have a relative who has it and it makes him dizzy sometimes and he gets very hungry and shaky if he doesn't have something immediately when he gets the symptoms. You’ll feel much better when you get to the bottom of this problem. Call ASAP so you’ll not worry. Good luck.
