I once read about a girl who donated her long hair to a charity that makes wigs for girls with cancer. Does anyone know of any charity in the UK that would do this at no cost to the recipient??
I have waist length hair and feel it would be wrong to just get it cut if I have the ability to donate it.

I'm not sure about a charity in the UK, but if you check out www.beautifullengths.com
you might be able to send it from the UK. It would end up helping someone from Canada or the US though, depending on which address you send it too. I do know that the recipient gets the wig free, and it goes specifically to help cancer patients.
