Im not looking for thoughts, im just wondering if anyone has heard that this is false, or made up by the government.

Please no bullshit about the dangers of weed. Dont really wanna hear from some stereotypical idiot.

Answer:
There was a study done that stated that weed will increase your chance for testicular cancer by 30%. Whether this is true or not isn't known for sure.

The point I want to make: Testicular cancer appears in 0.4% of adult men. With the 30% increase, the chance would increase to 0.52%. That's still 1/200. Also, over 90% of testicular cancer is cured.

Though honestly, I doubt that 30% increase is even true. First off, it wasn't a large study taken nationwide (which would be impossible). Secondly, we're talking about a difference of .12% (1/850) between the marijuana smokers studied and the national average.

Lastly, about the increased heart rate: the same holds true with exercise. It increases your heart rate, and if you have heart problems, exercise can be perilous to your health. Same with marijuana. Also, the whole statistic that marijuana “quadruples” your risk for a heart attack in the first hour is complete crap. While it might be true, think about it: what is the actual chance for a healthy person to have a heart attack in the next hour? Quadrupling that minuscule number would still have no effect on a healthy person. As a rule of thumb: if your heart isn't healthy enough to deal with an increased heart rate during a jog, it isn't healthy enough to deal with an increased heart rate for weed.

Answer:
The research has been done and confirmed it causes a particularly rare, nasty form of cancer.

One study found that an abuser’s risk of heart attack more than quadruples in the first hour after smoking marijuana.7 The researchers advocate that such an outcome might occur from marijuana’s effects on blood pressure and heart rate (it increases both) and reduced oxygen-carrying capacity of blood.

The study results show that being a marijuana smoker at the time of diagnosis was linked to a 70 per cent higher risk of testicular cancer. For men who smoked marijuana at least once a week or who had been smoking it since their teens, the danger was about double that of a man who had never smoked it.
Previous studies have already shown that regular and frequent use of marijuana affects the human endocrine and reproductive system, and in men this has been linked with reduced testosterone, lower sperm quality, and impotency. Male infertility and poor semen quality has also been associated with an increased risk of testicular cancer, so the researchers decided to investigate if there was a link between this type of cancer and use of marijuana.

If you're gonna smoke dope, don't breed.
This is no bullshit. It's real studies done. Nobody cares if you believe it or not. Do you really need a reason to justify being a pothead?

Answer:
I read a LOT and devour everything that mentions cancer and I cannot confirm what these other people are saying about weed. The only health hazards I am aware of are the ones you don't want to hear about. And, btw, believing the stuff is enjoyable to a degree but harmful to a more massive degree doesn't make me a “stereotypical idiot”.

Answer:
On the doctors show they say it makes cancer worse, and can cause more.

Answer:
no proof to it.But like anything you smoke is bad for your lungs and heart.
