People who sleep at day and work when most people sleep. Do they get disease, die fast?
Answer:
People who get poor quality sleep are more apt to suffer health problems. It isn't a sure thing, but the better you sleep, the stronger your immune system is. Besides, being tired all the time poses risks of falling asleep during driving or other perilous tasks, which could potentially end up in deadly accidents. If you're pulling the night shift, it isn't any different than sleeping all night instead of sleeping in the daytime. Just make sure you get sufficient rest, and everything will be fine.
Answer:
there’s no scientific proof that people who dont sleep will live a shorter life or be more prone to getting cancer. you may be shocked to know that even in 2009, scientists still have not figured out exactly why we sleep! there are general ideas (to energise body and brain) but we really don’t know at this time if this is really true or how it may be done. If you are worried about cancer, then stopping any smoking habit, eating more healthily and avoiding foods with too many artificial added ingredients such as flavorings or sweeteners (eg aspartame, used in sugar free foods such as cola, is known to give cancer when given to rats, even though not proven in humans as yet) would be superior things to be more cautious about! It is true that the body never truly adjusts to night shift work, as your body and brain automatically always want to re-energize when it gets dark, its the natural process. not good on your body for general health if you’re always on night shift work but there’s no reason at present to believe it could lead to cancer or a shorter life.
