Do I Have Cancer?

Author: admin

About a week ago, I looked in the back of my throat, and it was completely black. Scary? Yes. I don't know what it was, but eventually it went away.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been losing weight like CRAZY. And I have not been dieting or anything. I even stopped working out. I am STILL losing weight.

What is wrong with me? I've read things that focus on cancer…could that be the case?

Answer:
I would first ask you your age. If you are over the age of 10 and under the age of 40 chances are that it is not cancer.

I will tell you that extreme weight loss over a short period of time is not a good sign, however, I wouldn't jump on the cancer bandwagon. If you are over the age of 40, have a history of smoking and have an unproductive cough exceeding more than 3 months I would begin to worry.

I would make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible. It could be something as simple as Mononucleosis or something more serious. I wouldn't take chances.

Answer:
Nessa, the people on here will not be able to tell you what's wrong with you. Your health has destabilized and you need to be seen by a doctor as quickly as possible to be examined and tested. Please call him/her as soon as possible and good luck.
