Density in breast?

Author: admin

kay well i was sent for my annual mamogram and they said i have dence breast and i have to go back for a second mamogram for more testing what does this mean?

Answer:
Well first I would tell them No. If you have dense breast tissue, an ultrasound is a better option. Dense breast tissue, means you have less dense and less fatty breast then others.

A mammogram just doesn't work well with dense breast tissue, it doesn't give a good clear image, but an ultrasound does.

Answer:
I believe I heard that mean's the more density you have in your breast the more your at risk for breast cancer.
