how many cigarettes does it take for a person to actually become addicted
and dont state just one i would never smoke im just very curious
Answer:
It varies by person. It's a slow process of acclimation of the body. Usually, if a person smokes an average of a pack a day (20 cigarettes) for 2 years, they can expect to be able to quit with relative ease. Beyond that, it gets to be more difficult. I believe that I heard, or maybe I read it somewhere, that it takes about 6 months to develop an addiction to the nicotine.
Answer:
its like drugs, alcohol you never know your an addict until it grabs you ny the balss. As a ex smoker, it takes more than one ciggarette to become an addict. Its also a choice, like you can decide to buy a box or not, if you purchase a box you asking to be addicted
Answer:
well, it can be just one. They taste terrible the first time, but they make you feel different, new. It's not bad or good, but it's enough to make you curious enough for another. Then starts the slow, steady delicious march to your grave.
Answer:
Usually trying it 3 different times (ex: one for curiousity, another with friends at a friend's house, for fun by yourself) not 1 after another because I smoked a pack with my friend and we didn't get addicited but this is what my health teacher told me.
Answer:
it is only one rarely it takes to but 80 percent of the time it is one
