who agrees that the cigarette company should pay for people who want to quite smoking??we didn't put the ingredents in the cigs to make us addicted!!they got us by the balls!!

Answer:
I think it is an excellent idea, but I don't think it will happen.

Answer:
True but we have free will. We chose to pick up that cigarette and another and another. I quit cold turkey about 5-6 yrs ago after trying all the other methods unsuccessfully. I feel awesome. GL

Answer:
I don't think they should. I had watched my daddy try to quit many times, and I still started smoking.

I do think Chantix permanently ruined my stomach after taking it for 40 days.

Almost 9 months smoke free now.

Answer:
You are telling me that before you started smoking you didn't know the effects? I have known since I was 7 (1978) that cigarettes cause problems and it was hard for people to quit.I wish people would take responsibility for what they do and quit blaming others and trying to get them to fix it.

Answer:
I smoked for 6 years, was on chantix for 3 weeks and haven't smoked in over a year, so I obviously would recommend it. I know that some states have programs that tobacco companys do pay for. I live in Maine, a state that spends a lot of money trying to get people to quit smoking, through them I received both patches and gum. (neither worked for me, thus i tried chantix and it worked)

You should check to see if your state has a "Tobacco Quit Line"

Answer:
lol yes, and McDonald's should pay for gastric bypass surgeries

I despise cigarette companies..

but honestly people need to be accountable for how they mistreat and abuse their bodies
