A person with colostomy cannot swim in the swimming pool for the following reasons: The colostomy can be infected; the colostomy can bring out waste to the water… which is dangerous for both the person with colostomy and for those in the pool.

Yes definately. It needs to be emptied beforehand and sometimes waterproof tape strips help. But there should be no reason why not. It doesnt come off in water.
Just cos you have one doesnt mean you cant lead a normal life. Those who say no obviously don't know what they are talking about.
