It's been many years since it appeared (at least 3 years now), it doesn't injured or itch, but it's just there on my nipple. It's about a centimeter long in the same colour as my nipple (on my left nipple only), it looks like a build up of meat or skin lumps… I've checked with one of my physicians a few years back when I first got it, she said it wasn't anything that I need to worry about… but at the time, it was still very small (it was just a little single lump of skin that's visible on the nipple)… it's gotten larger over the years (now about 1 cm long, made up of many tiny lumps of skin on top of each other) and now I can feel that it's no longer just a painless piece of meat or skin, but rather a piece of extra massive nipple that is long and made up of little round 'smaller' nipples on top of each other…
I was wondering if this is really something I don't have to worry about since it's been many years and is not painful nor does it itch (unless I pull it hard enough, then it hurts)? Also if I want to remove it surgically, would this affect breastfeeding (I'm 101% sure I'm not pregnant but I do want children a few years down the track)?
Answer:
My daughter had the same thing, but hers was much more massive and she also had in more places, hers was just skin growth and the physician just froze them off, that’s done very frequently and usually nothing to worry about. I would advise tou to see a dermatologist and ask him/her to remove it before ir gets more massive, if you let it get too big that's when it might cause some problem.
Answer:
Get them removed. There's a number of things they could be- but if they're growing that fast they gotta go. And no, this should not at all effect your ability to breast feed. Women can get all kinds of internal surgery's and still breast feed- a skin procedure won't effect it at all.

Well I'm not a doc but I may help you out. My friend has the same problem as you got, and he went to a doc for a check up. As i can remember it's not something really serious, but it's something you should check up immediately.
Answer:
You really know that he only answer is to get checked out at the GP no one can answer this only a qualified doc can answer and yes it may be nothing and probably is but please don't take chances get it seen for your own sake.
Answer:
Um, I think you should probably see your physician again. It's probably nothing, anyway, you should just check it. And if you have to pull it for it to injured, I'd advocate not pulling it. Most peoples nipples injured if they pull it :S

Answer:
Hello Sharp.Pe,
With regards to the excess “skin or meat” growing on your nipple, I advocate you consult a gynecologist to ensure whatever growth has formed is not cancerous. Although you were informed during a previous consultation that the mass “wasn't anything to worry about,” the mere fact that the growth has enlarged should be concern enough to do a biopsy. Furthermore, you should have annual mammograms done to compare the previous year's image to the present day image. Thus, if a cancer is forming, treatment options including a lumpectomy, radiation, or chemotherapy can be attempted prior to more drastic measures such as a mastectomy. This growth might be a benign (non cancerous) intraductal papilloma; however, if a bloody discharge forms in the future, this may suggest a breast cancer. Catching a potential breast cancer in the early stages will have immediate implications on breastfeeding, surgical or pharmacological options, and cosmetic features. Thanks.
Respectfully,
Dr. Roshin
