are there any non invasive treatments for the abdominal distention that accompanies cancer & which types cause this symptom.
Answer:
Most all abdominal region cancers can cause abdominal distention which is the build-up of fluid within the abdominal cavity. I do not know of any non-invasive ways of relieving this. Most of the time, the abdomen is "tapped" using a catheter (like a large IV catheter) and the fluid is removed.
